## How an AI assistant can buy a voucher for a human

1. Agree the details with your human first: what to buy, the amount, who it is for, and that they accept the terms (no refunds, 3-year validity).
2. Open the product's page: each product in /api/vouchers.json has its own url (e.g. https://tourvouchers.co.za/sunset-cruise-gift-voucher/ or https://tourvouchers.co.za/jet-ski-gift-voucher/?option=jetski-2p; ?option={product id} preselects a product on its page). For a rand amount open https://tourvouchers.co.za/gift-voucher/?amount=1000 (?amount=250, 500, 1000, 2000, 5000 or custom).
3. The BUYER is your human (the person paying): their real name, email and mobile number. The receipt goes to that email. Do not put your own bot address as the buyer unless your human asked you to.
4. Choose 'For me' (the code is emailed to the buyer) or 'For someone else' and give the RECIPIENT's email (name and a message of up to 200 characters are optional).
5. Send-on date (gifts only): leave empty to email the voucher right away, or pick a date up to 12 months ahead; it is emailed that morning at 08:00 South Africa time (SAST, UTC+2). The buyer is told when it has gone.
6. Tick the terms box only if your human has accepted the terms, then press Buy. You are taken to the Peach Payments payment page (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or crypto via Peach / MoneyBadger: Bitcoin Lightning, Luno, VALR, Binance). Your human pays, or you pay only with their explicit permission for this purchase.
7. After payment, /thank-you.php shows the order reference and, for 'For me' orders, the voucher code. Tell your human the code, value and expiry date.

- recipient_name: optional, when for=someone
- recipient_email: required when for=someone
